I ordered the latest book called 'Pale and intereting' from Atlanta Bartlett, and it's soo enjoyable and beautiful. Full of light, clear and fresh pictures. It's a real coffee table book, although it ends up on my nightstand many nights ...
here, busy with the babyroom, I bought some blue bunting for our baby boy, which really makes the room beautiful and colorful but without being too much. It's lovely to be able to decorate a baby's room again, since my son of 5 is already in the 'poster' age and starts to like 'transformers' on the wall.... but he does like to move furniture like his mom, so I think I gave him some of the interior bug!

I have a decoration frenzy at the moment, I know I always have this, but now especially with the new baby coming, I need to have things in place! quick, and fast.
Of course this had led to me ordering books from amazon again and looking through them religiously...I can't get enough of the beautiful photos, ideas and dream that my house will also look like that, just by buying these books....I know, it's a good excuse!
Being the type of person who loves to paint, move furniture and change objects from here to there, it's not easy being forced to take it easy and not take part in our changes at home.
For the moment I keep myself happy with fruits, and small scale decoration, like pictures and frames, and candles. my husband is left with big projects....
Hope you all are well and wish you all a nice weekend ahead!

Finally we finished the renovation & decoration of our top floor. It became very nice and I am very happy with the result. The colours are calm and it gives a whole lot of new living space.
Of the decoration is the nicest part. I especially love the guest room, since I think guest rooms are one of those rooms which say a lot about your feelings towards having guests. It's nice when I am a guest, to arrive somewhere special or cared for.
This weekend we will take it easy and do very little. So enjoyable to just have a long breakfast and maybe look for a sidetable, for the livingroom.
Enjoy the weekend!
Happy Birthday to my little man who turned 5 already. He was so happy and exited by all the people, gifts and children who visited.
At the moment I have got a nasty backache due to my pregnancy, but nevertheless it was a wonderful day and we even had some sun.
Wish you all a nice week!
I love the festive days, but must say that I am also glad to be back to normal life. We had big works before Christmas, putting a new carpet and doors on our top floor, and all this is finally behind us and we can start the decorating.
At the moment I am trying to find curtains, isn't that difficult? There is so much choice and I also seem to find something in a magazine which is either out of stock or not for sale here.
I'm due in May of our second child, so I am starting to think about the nursery, my 5 year old son is eager to think along, and its funny to see how he already has got an interest in moving furniture and decoration.
I don't always comment on your blogs, but I do keep reading them, sometimes I just don't have to time to leave a comment.
Lynn, Nadine, Marjolijn, Madelief, Mary-Laure, Rebecca from Sanctuary, Chantal, Terri, Thanks for all your lovely posts, and keeping me inspired!
Wish you all a lovely week!
