Tea and candles

Hello everybody,

I hope everybody enjoyed their christmas and the last days. I made a picture of the lovely teapot and candles I received with christmas and later on I will also show you my new book from Flamant. The book is so wonderful, that I can't stop looking at it.
Now, the house is a bit messy, but tomorrow I am planning to tidy and to start on some recipes I been wanting to try.
At the moment we are looking for a new house, which is really difficult, but hopefully soon we will find our new home. I am looking forward to decorate a new house, just a new project to look forward to.

hello girls,

I am just leaving for a few days for the christmas holidays, but I found this picture of this beautiful kitchen and
I had to show it. Sometimes I dream of having this big country kitchen, where I can bake and cook, but at the
moment, I just dream about it! :-)

Finally there is some snow today, I look out of my window and its quite white, not too much, but a beginning.
Now its more like a real christmas, right? I hope you all enjoy your days and enjoy the seasons charm and celebrations.

Books, Books and inspiration

Hello again,

Today was sooo cold! It really amazed me since it really feels like winter now. I am not really fond
of the cold, but as these pictures show, I have got a lot of good reasons to stay at home.
I love to snuggle under a blanket and read these books. I stare at the pictures, and get ideas
for my own home... which is addictive.
These magazines are my newest, I am so embarrassed to buy so many, but I just can't leave them
in the stores, I need to browse through them and store them in my house. (my magazines are everywhere!)
I get so happy of my books and magazines, they are much treasured and loved.

I hope all of you are doing fine and that you can all enjoy this cold evening inside.

Hi There,

Today I want to share these beautiful pictures with you. The nice entry is decorated for Christmas and gives
a welcome feeling. The second pictures is one of my favourite books called 'High Tea and Brocante'. I go through this
book quite a lot, just to look at the nice pictures or find some place for a high tea with friends.
Today is a lazy Sunday. Some shopping, resting and cooking a nice sunday dinner tonight.
I don't seem to find the time to create anything lately, so I try to stay inspired by my magazines such as 'The English
Home' or 'Country Living UK', they help me get inspriration when I am out of ideas or when I am in need of beautiful pictures!

Easy Friday

Hello,

Today I am enjoying a friday off work, a real treat these days!
I've been working lots lately and I long to just put back some calm and
tranquility in our home. The picture here shows you the plant I
put in our room and the candle for some ambiance.
My house has been been somewhat neglected lately and now is the time
to play house and give it a breath of fresh air.
Christmas is coming and there is still so much to do! I am looking forward to
the holidays. I wish you all a nice weekend and enjoy the free and cold days.
