Last weekend I was strolling in Delft, and I saw to my happiness a huge, busy flea market, my favourite! I had a good look and enjoyed all the treasures to be found around me. The houses, the little alleys, all so charming and historical.
So, I share here some of the pics from that day. Of course Vermeer, the famous blue ceramic tiles bring many tourist to this city each day.

I also got some new Ikea bed sheets, this time flowers in blue and white, very feminine and light, but also good to keep me happy now autumn is really starting. I think new bed sheets can feel so amazing when you are tired and your bed is all clean and crisp, lovely!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and do take care!

A new front garden, fix the curtains, get a new bathroom, paint or repaint some wood work....I could go on and on with my list. There are things in our homes we need to do, and want to do, or both!
At the moment, summer is almost over, so big outside projects are not really a priority but there are plenty of other things I can come up with.... Money and time are of course needed to do all these things, and so we do things one step at a time.
I was wondering what's next for you?
Do any of you have projects you'd like to realize or have realized?

This week I found a gorgeous new lamp in a store, with a 50% discount, it was a quick decision and at home I am trying to see where it will fit best. Then there were the candles from the brand Pomax, very beautiful autumn colours ready to be burnt on a cold, dark evening. These items both weren't part of a new project, but it made me happy in any case....!
Have a good weekend!!

Dear all, thanks for your kind messages during my absence! I really needed this break from blogging and the computer. I have done portait painting, travelling to france and italy and I enjoyed projects at home.
I returned yesterday from Sardinia, it was great, good food and lovely water. Glad to be home again, and realised I am not really a beach person, a few days are fine, but then I get a little bored...

Of course I want to visit you all again and see how everybody is doing. The end of summer is coming near and even though I love the long sunny days, I love the fall, with it's cosy evening, warm colours and wearing beautiful vests and sweaters. Fall is a new beginning for me, more then January, I guess it's a school thing, September really is the month of new beginnings for me...
I hope you are all well, and that you had a wonderful summer.
