Yes,house projects are ongoing. Some of you might be stressed about that, but personally, I am happy that you can constantly update your home. Yesterday my significant other, put up some roller blinds. We have a huge kitchen window and it wasn't very practical to put some curtains made of delicate fabric, since we have our big stove next to the window. So, we chose a dark blue roller blind, which breaks the white kitchen a bit. I feel safer and happier.
I also got the new Countrystyle from Australia this week. It's my last issue, because each year I subscribe to a different foreign magazine. I have tried Vakre Hjem and Countrystyle, and Period Living UK, it's always great to get inspiration from all over the world. I am thinking what I will subscribe to this year, as my current subscription has nearly ended.
Here, I share some beautiful images of Countrystyle Australia.

Fridays are my favourite days, the day that I still have the entire weekend ahead of me, a day where I usually spend time doing some chores in the house or having a coffee with a friend. today my son is coming back after a week at the grandparents, so it's very special, I am so glad to hear his little voice and the noise again!
I ordered the home in these last days and while buying some curtains for my son's bedroom, I ran into this white can from Ikea. It is just what I was looking for. It also looks lovely with some flowers in it.
I am also looking at colours (again!) for my house, our bedroom is really a bit dull at the moment, and I would like to give a bit more colour and maybe try a different fabric here and there.
So, I am going through my Flamant colour card, they really have beautiful colours.

Wish you all a great weekend ahead,
Solange

Today the house was quiet, our son left with his grandparents, which makes them and him very happy. The first moments we always feel a bit strange to have the house so quiet, but after a bit we really make the most of it, to do our things in the house which we usually don't have so much time for, like reading a good book, watching movie in the afternoon! or paint with my oilpaint, parents must know what I mean.... ;-)
I captured some corners in our house, that I see everyday, but which mean home for me.
The sign which reads 'atelier' was embroidered by myself, one of the biggest stitching projects I have done so far...I am a painter, more than anything, but I always believed that one should try different things, and I actually enjoy embroidery.
I wish you all an enjoyable sunday and take care.
